His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa congratulated Chairman of Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), Isa Al-Shaiji, on winning the presidency of the association’s new Board of Directors. He also congratulated the board members on their election, wishing them every success in achieving the association’s goals.

HM the King commended the efforts of Bahraini journalists in serving the nation and citizens, praising the role of the Bahraini press in serving the society, supporting the comprehensive development march and fostering national unity. He also lauded credibility, objectivity and professionalism of Bahrain journalism in disclosing news, defending national issues and interests, promoting security and stability and documenting the kingdom’s civilizational and development achievements.

HM the King praised the efforts of BJA outgoing Board of Directors and the accomplishments made in the journalism field.
