Housing and Urban Planning Minister, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, received the Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Network (BNET), Ahmed Jaber Aldoseri, with whom she discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, and reviewed the national plan to extend fibre services in housing cities.

CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority (UPDA), Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayyat, the Undersecretary of the Housing and Urban Planning Ministry, Assim Abdullatif, and several officials attended the meeting.

The two sides reviewed the housing projects that fall within BNET’s national plan to provide fibre-based connectivity.

They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation to meet the fibre needs of the current and future housing projects.

BNET chief expressed thanks to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and the UPDA for their full cooperation with BNET by providing it with the designs of infrastructure projects and housing cities.
