Manama, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to democracy, grounded in national values and strengthened by growing political awareness.
He commended the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for establishing a solid democratic foundation through a comprehensive development process.
In a statement marking the International Day of Democracy, Al Saleh highlighted Bahrain’s participation in this global event, which coincides with the 25th anniversary of His Majesty’s reign. He also acknowledged the government’s efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in promoting democratic awareness and sound governance.
Al Saleh noted the focus on artificial intelligence in this year’s celebrations, stressing the importance of leveraging technology for development.
